The Courier is Newcastle University Students' Union Newspaper and a media outlet. I am the Head of Current Affairs which I oversee 5 sections and 18 sub-section editors. I have been writing for The Courier for almost 3 years.

Portfolio collection of all video content edited and produced. This includes long form video content, interviews, podcasts, reels and Tiktoks. Work made for both personal and professional use.

Jesmond Local is Newcastle University's hyperlocal news website, which shares stories for the local Jesmond area. My 'Beat' was Education, and I published five pieces of media that covered the local schools.

This project involved creating a mock publication for prospective students attending Newcastle University. Our aim was to showcase city cultures, community and university life Newcastle has to offer.

For this Module I wrote a news report, explainer article on the Student encampments on Newcastle University campus, accompanied by a TikTok + Twitter thread with infographics.

For this module, I chose a niche patch and created 5 media pieces on the publishing and book community in the North-East. This included a podcast, listicle, and opinion pieces.
